Wondrous item, legendary

After the burning of Baridor on High during the First Great Dragon War, the Clerics of the Faith commisioned a set of one-hundred and forty-four bells, crafted by the greatest bellfounders in the kingdom. They blessed these bells so that, should a dragon come within fifty miles of them, they would ring.

The Dragon Carillon has been kept in the palace of Baridor on High ever since. A bell will ring for every dragon within range and will grow louder as a dragon gets closer. The Keepers of the Carillon are a group of twelve priests who are specially trained to interpret the rings and can tell where a dragon is within the region and how close it is to the palace.
